Enlarging the mortar offer in Morocco

In Morocco, the demand for ready-to-use mortars is increasing, from both construction companies and professional builders. To match this growing market, LafargeHolcim has launched 14 new mortar products in Morocco, supporting customers with ad-ho training programs.

 

In 2018, we started to innovate our line of products and solutions to develop the industrial mortar business in Morocco. This has led to a volume growth of 108% in 2019 vs. 2018 and a significant change in our market share. The larger range of products played a key role in this success, representing 32% of the sales in 2019.

Close to our customers

To support the launch of the new mortar products, we have created a training program for our customers, covering 3 major regions, 60 distributors and about 1,500 customers.
